We did this house last week; the roofing in Vienna VA. The owners were torn on color selection so I brought out a few of their top four choices and put them up on the garage roof. The look of the shingles can vary depending on the angle of the sun- so after a few days my clients were positive they’d like the color after seeing it through a few sunrises and sunsets. Laying shingle samples on the roof is a great way to make sure our clients will be happy with their new roof.
The old roof was badly stained with algae (black streaks) and was at the end of it’s useful life.
We removed all the old roofing:
Then we installed a new GAF 5 part roofing system with GAF TImberline HD in Barkwood. The owners are thrilled with their new roof.
